Anybody else has had this issue where music playback will pause every few secs/mins when connected to any bluetooth device? In my case have tried with at least 2 speakers and tried 3 cellphones including mine (all samsung s series) and only mine had this issue. So far I've tried unpairing & pairing again, restarting my phone, checked for updates as well as resetting network settings and still have this problem, any suggestions?

My Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 has begun doing this. Same issue as Bjoern and SteveHolt. Battery unrestricted, phone open and not sleeping, other apps closed to prevent competing audio, etc. My audio (mainly podcasts) pauses every few seconds. I downloaded alternate apps to make sure it was not app-specific and confirmed it happens on multiple apps. I also tested multiple bluetooth earbuds / headphones and it happens with all. It's definitely a Samsung issue.

Usually to "fix" it I have to do some combination of the following: fast forward / rewind the audio, disconnect / reconnect bluetooth,  close / reopen the app. Usually, it will eventually start working normally but has become extremely frustrating. It started for me in mid-September 2023 - I suspect it was due to a software update.

Try this: in Settings/App permissions/Samsung music or any app you have a problem with and turn off the option where it says "Pause app activity if unused" had the same issue and it fixed it. Have a great day and hope it fixes the problem. :)
