when I go to the section in the app the square highlighted in yellow and a squares below it in white used to have words in there but I don't know how to get them back. What words are even there so I don't accidentally delete something I need.

It's basically going to show you the total space used. Same as what it shows at the top. 124.8 gb used out of 128gb which is the internal capacity of your phone. Why the box is blank? Not sure. It should show 124.8

The box is blank because his device is suffering from memory overdose.

You all are going to have to install a third-party file manager. I recommend ZArchiver. It's easy and simple. However, I do not recognize the font and page you are on, so I will assume you are using a book instead. In that case, you will need to do it manually.

Hi Amandaz,

If the total memory (or storage) section in the My Files app is not showing and appears blank, this could be due to a few reasons related to app settings, system issues, or cache problems.

Sometimes, restarting your phone can fix minor glitches that cause information like total memory to disappear. Try restarting your device and checking the My Files app again.

The My Files app needs permission to access your storage to display total memory.

Go to Settings > Apps > Scroll down to My Files and tap on it > Select Permissions and make sure Storage permission is enabled.

Clearing the cache can resolve display issues: Go to Settings > Apps > Find My Files and tap on it > Tap on Storage > Select Clear Cache (do not tap Clear Data as this might reset app preferences) > Open the My Files app again and check if the storage information is showing.

If your storage is nearly full, it might cause issues with displaying storage information:

Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Storage > Review and free up some space if needed, as this can refresh the system’s ability to calculate and display storage information.

Thank you.
