Galaxy SHi Amandaz,
If the total memory (or storage) section in the My Files app is not showing and appears blank, this could be due to a few reasons related to app settings, system issues, or cache problems.
Sometimes, restarting your phone can fix minor glitches that cause information like total memory to disappear. Try restarting your device and checking the My Files app again.
The My Files app needs permission to access your storage to display total memory.
Go to Settings > Apps > Scroll down to My Files and tap on it > Select Permissions and make sure Storage permission is enabled.
Clearing the cache can resolve display issues: Go to Settings > Apps > Find My Files and tap on it > Tap on Storage > Select Clear Cache (do not tap Clear Data as this might reset app preferences) > Open the My Files app again and check if the storage information is showing.
If your storage is nearly full, it might cause issues with displaying storage information:
Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Storage > Review and free up some space if needed, as this can refresh the system’s ability to calculate and display storage information.
Thank you.
