Galaxy SIt sounds like it's not the app itself, but the weather provider that was/is having an issue?
Since you have done pretty much everything that I'd suggest, the only thing that I don't know if you tried was to go to Settings > Apps Search for the Weather app & Click on it & Click on Force Stop & Reboot.
But if it's the weather provider, you might just have to wait?
Samsung's weather is currently working on my S23 Ultra One UI V6.1 for my location.

Galaxy SYep, I did stop & reboot as well, but no luck.
You saying it might be a weather provider does make sense 👍 Will wait to see if it improves.
But, I also checked my friend's S24 side by side and there is no issue with that device - weather upade was quick and smooth, while mine was "loading" (spinning wheel) and updating for 15-20 seconds with still crossed out location icon.

Galaxy SHi R2D42, that's sad to hear this issue from you.
Please try this and see if it helps. Select "Mobile Data" and enable both "Allow background data usage" and "Allow app while Data saver on".

Galaxy SThanks for the advice 👍 Those settings are and were "on" all the time.
I do think that the issue was with the service provider as RedDogRabbit suggested above because now it kinda works. There are still occasional problems with updating the information, but far less often.
