Good morning everyone, I have a question regarding my TP Link and Samsung Galaxy s22. I have a TP Link router with an attached USB hard drive. I am able to access the contents of the hard drive remotely (from a different netwerk) to an app such as filezilla, through FTP server and by putting my username and password and the port. After that I don't have any problem accessing the hard disk which is attached to my tp-link router through filezilla.

I was trying to configure the same USB that is attached to the tp-link Wi-Fi router through my network share folder in my Samsung phone.
I have tried using FTP server as well as SFTP server and put the settings including my FTP IP address as well as the port which is 21 and the username and password but every time I try that, the app gives me an error.... Cannot connect, make sure the settings are correct.

Can anyone please help me what I am doing wrong here? If I would be ever able to access the USB drive through the network sharing app in my Samsung or not? I am not asking about local same network access, i am asking about remote access from a different or cellular network.

Thank you!
