finally after testing  the new  bixby routines for changing  the display settings (screen resolution and motion smoothness) the routines changes the settings properly but the videos on YouTube or prime video don't play at 1440p stills play at 1080 p
? So its kind of useless and probably because YouTube needs to be restarted for the new settings to take effect but when you close YouTube  to restart the settings revert ti to the old ones

Hi audiojfr,

Thank you for taking the time to write about new Bixby routines. We will take it as feedback and will forward this to the concerned team for further review.

This is because the resolution changes after the app launches. YouTube reads the resolution at launch. You have to force close the YouTube app and launch it with the new resolution already set to get the option for higher resolution video. You can test this by manual changing the screen resolution as well.

You can try doing a Bixby routine button where it changes the resolution first and then launch is the YouTube app. Not sure if that will resolve your problem though.
