New emojis? Face melt, etc

So my boyfriend has the exact same phone and he has the new emojis like the face melt and the bubbles and stuff. What's the deal with that?

Edit lol: we have Samsung galaxy s21 Ultra, all software updated and both using SwiftKey. Also the same provider.

In the screen shot you posted, it did appear as a rectangle, but for me it was a square box outline.

What I'm trying to say is that I think this is a Samsung Members site / Members app issue on how emojis are processed?

I don't really see it as a significant problem, just a minor bug.

This is what I see on my device (screen shot) & what I see getting typed. I'm still not sure what is happening for you?

You can try Clearing Cache & Data for SwiftKey (if you are signed into SwiftKey, you won't lose what it has learned about your typing style & spelling etc).

For reference in this example I'm tryna use the melty face. And then I downloaded beta. And it still sends as like the "emoji not found" square with the x in the middle. Like it's there but it doesn't work lmao.
