I regularly swipe up from the corner to set an alarm for something later in a day. Turns out the new Gemini update removed this functionality

Hi SuppaDev,

It seems the Gemini update for Google Assistant has altered or removed the functionality you're accustomed to for setting alarms. Swiping up from the corner likely triggered the assistant to set an alarm directly in the past. However, Gemini might not yet support this action or handle it differently.

To address this, you can try the following workarounds:

Use the Clock App Directly: Open your device's Clock app to manually set an alarm.

Re-enable Voice Commands: If Gemini doesn't support setting alarms, ensure Google Assistant is set as the default voice assistant:

Go to Settings > Apps > Default apps > Digital assistant app and select Google Assistant (if available).

Thank you.

Here is the fix!

Install Google Alarm and uninstall Samsung's alarm and now you can use Gemini to set your alarms for you.
