new update keeps blocking my mom

a while ago on my old S5 somehow I managed to block my mom as a contact and she couldn't message me or call me. I fixed it once I figured it was going on but now with nougat almost every morning I have to unblock her as a contact so I get messages from her. i think it thinks I still want to block her which I don't she's starting to take it personally

Have you tried going to contacts > click the persons name > choose details > Click 3 dots in top right > unblock number.

brownbatman is on the money. may want to look and see how your moms.contact info is saved. Samsung contacts app links accounts from multiple services. Maybe unlink the accounts and see if any of them are blocked?

Or delete the contact and add as a fresh contact will also solve the problem many times

The most precious person in anyones life is MOM ...why on earth you want to block her...very sad for you.....
