Good news the "Nissan connect app" apps finally work on the s8 with the Oreo update as it was not compatible with nougat. for those trying to get the Google app to start downloading to the car I just downloaded The other apps ie: TripAdvisor and then Google started working . if that's all I ever use from Oreo is worth it to me.
