No project Treble confirmed

No project treble for the s8 and s8+ looks like us Samsung consumers will always lag on the latest and greatest software. I am considering going pixel with next phone.

The S8 is my first android phone. love it. but I hate the UI. I tried an old nexus phone and I feel like my next phone will be a Pixel. icons and UI are way more pleasing

Try Nova Launcher.

You can also change you themes and icons using various iterations of them from Samsung Themes.

honestly Samsung should run bare bones android and have all their apps such as Bixby etc be cross platform and downloadable on the play store. if they don't want to do that at least give consumers a choice to buy one as such. I'm tired of getting updates 6 months later and them taking out certain features.

i do run nova launcher with as close to stock thening as I can. but the quick settings section is so ugly as opposed to the Pixel's.
Also, the system is very worry! most of the times you have so much text compared to stock Android or iOS
