Let me just say, Yes it took a long time, however one UI 7.0 is one of the best updates I've ever received on my S23FE. First off I love the dynamic widget at the top. I love that it displays scores and music control, amazing.

I also really love the weather app. Samsung really did amazing with this update.

Anyone who touts the 23FE knows 0 about devices.

While I guess I'm glad at least someone is liking it.

This was a dumpster fire of an update.

Your 23FE will suffer, as it's Ram and heating disipation on the CPU is garbage at best.

Your phone is going to die a lot faster now.

I disagree, not once did I tout my S23FE, I only stated I love the features on the device.

Second off, the update is great, there are no bugs, no problems on my end, so I'm happy with it.

If you're not, switch to another phone brand

S23 ultra here. after the update my phone responds slow! Takes half a second for app to start opening! Lock screen doesn't respond to taps, dynamic widget should have been on the battery side of split by the camera. Looks terrible on the left.. takes up space from my notification icons

It's fine if you like it.

As a technician, there's a lot that this update will do specifically to your device.

I'm running a 24, which has the updated CPU cooler (23fe has a sealed cooler, often not thermally controlled) and more Ram capacity.

I had the same phone last year, and switched to this for said reasons.

It's a warning. You're praising the update too soon. I just had your phone, and I'm very familiar with its OS, UI, and capabilities / short comings.

My major issues, is that this update accidentally over writ previous setting abilities and brightness settings.

Leading to headaches and migrains in many users, of which i can't "repair"... as they removed that code entirely.

There are issues, like you said... just not on your end, yet.

I just read through the comment you left on my post.

It appears you've found access to certain features i haven't yet.

I wasn't aware there was an ability to revert to specific UI6 settings.

While running through code i used to have access to, most of it was deleted or altered. Making my software tools next to useless.

In all fairness, if i find these settings I will have a much better opinion of this update.

I'm one of the users getting the negative effects from the brightness of widgets. My stuff being moved just eeks me as I'm adhd as ***.

I appreciate you eleborationg on that part.

So although it is not a direct feature, through the Good Lock application, Theme Park, you're able to change the icons to whatever you want. It can be the OneUi 6.0 icons, or absolutely any other image. The rest are features available in phone settings!

You've changed my mind. Good Lock is something I'll be recommending to others.

I apologize for my behavior. I was rude. That's my bad.
