Latest update completely broke Bluetooth connection to my car, very occasionally auto connects but always connects "calls" but never audio, I have to manually toggle it on and off every time to make it work, this was not an issue with the previous version. Quite disappointed with having to deal with this.

Same issue here! Absolutely infuriating. No automatic connection to Bluetooth. Then it will constantly try to pair (whilst connected only for calling), get disconnected, and repeat. Over and over. The toggling audio manually is the only thing fixing it temporarily. We need a fix for this

Hi Members_AVTEqpn,

We understand how frustrating it can be to experience persistent Bluetooth connectivity problems, particularly when the device fails to maintain a stable connection and repeatedly attempts to pair.

Please be assured that your feedback is valued. We recommend the following steps as a temporary workaround:

  1. Manually toggle Bluetooth audio routing when the issue occurs, as you’ve noted this helps restore functionality.

  2. Reset Bluetooth settings via Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings to clear any potential configuration conflicts.

  3. Ensure all software and apps are up to date, as future patches may address this behavior.

We appreciate your patience and will continue to monitor this issue closely. Updates will be shared as soon as a permanent fix becomes available.

In the meantime, we kindly request that you submit an error report through the Samsung Members app. This will assist the development team in investigating the issue more thoroughly and prioritizing a resolution in future updates.

Here are the formal steps to submit an error report using the Samsung Members app:

  1. Open the Samsung Members App Locate and launch the Samsung Members app on your device.

  2. Navigate to the Support Section Tap on “Get help” located at the bottom of the screen.

  3. Select “Error reports” Under the support options, choose “Error reports” to begin the submission process.

  4. Choose the Relevant Category Select the category that best matches your issue (e.g., Connectivity, Battery, Performance, etc.).

  5. Describe the Issue Clearly Provide a detailed description of the problem, including:

    • What occurred

    • When it started

    • Any steps you’ve already taken to resolve it

    • Screenshots or screen recordings (if available)

  6. Submit the Report Once all details are filled in, tap “Submit” to send your report.

The temp workaround by enabling Audio manually in connection settings (only after you begin to play music from your music app) works but is so irritating. Strange that the calls connection has no issue whatsoever

Any idea when an Android bug fix is going to be released to fix this?

Hi MartyH,

Thank you for sharing your experience regarding the temporary workaround for the audio connection issue. We understand how frustrating it can be to manually enable audio in the connection settings after initiating playback. It's indeed peculiar that call connectivity remains unaffected while media audio encounters disruptions.

We will address this issue in future updates. Once a resolution has been implemented, we will inform you accordingly.

I'm glad im not the only one with this issue. Both my wife and I have the same phone the s24fe. I have a s23fe just sitting around after the upgrade. Paired to the car within seconds, phone and media. Then switched to my s24fe and somehow both phone and media connected. I'm not gonna do that every time I turn the car on. I also have a Mitsubishi. A Lancer 2017 maybe a Mitsubishi thing. My wife has a 2012 Toyota Corolla and no issues since the update.

Thank you for sharing your experience. It’s helpful to know that both you and your wife are encountering similar connectivity behavior with the Galaxy S24 FE. The seamless pairing observed with the S23 FE, followed by the dual connection issue on the S24 FE, may indicate a compatibility nuance between the newer device and certain vehicle infotainment systems.

We appreciate your detailed feedback, as it contributes to a better understanding of device performance across different environments. Should the issue persist, please consider reporting it through Samsung Members for further technical review.

My wife's Galaxy S22 just updated to Android 16 and the Bluetooth audio stopped working for our car too. We have a 2011 Mitsubishi Shogun. It still works on my S21 Ultra with Android 15.

Looking forward to an Android 16 patch.

Same issue here with my S23+ and 2011 Acura. Ridiculous this has been a know issue for several months and still no patch! This is a safety issue .... not having BT connect properly or drop mid drive in 2025 is insanity.
