Galaxy S
I've been noticing that when I use the navigation gestures like the back swipe, I always press a button at the same time.
Example: Gallery. When I look at a picture, and swipe to go a step back, in 8 of 10 cases, I also press the "pictures" button and then the whole gallery scrolls up to the beginning and that annoys me really.
Have you been noticing that problem too?
I would appreciate if Samsung could solve this problem with a software update.
Thanks ;

Have a look at Fluid Navigation Gestures from the Play Store (requires adb commands) It has more functionality & features then the stock navigation gestures including multiple options for Actions & Swipe Sensitivity & Duration 🐧

Thanks for the suggestion. Sounds good, but would that be a "root" ?

No Fluid Navigation Gestures does not require Root - But you do need to use adb commands which does not void your Warranty - Root is not possible anyway because of Locked Bootloaders.
