Galaxy SOthers experienced strange issues too. Personally yesterday Buds2 Pro's cut out randomly for more than a few seconds an hour later screen was completely unresponsive to any touch or swipe input, until I locked screen. Then woke it up all was good. Gonna fully charge power down for a few hours during sleep and see if the Alarm auto sounds while off.

Galaxy SHi Mughair,
We certainly understand how frustrating it can be when a phone that has been working fine suddenly starts having issues, especially with system crashes and performance slowdowns. Since you've already tried clearing the cache partition and the issue persists, it might be time to explore other options.
Sometimes, an app update or a newly installed app can cause system instability. Check if any apps are causing excessive battery drain or crashes:
Go to Settings > Battery and Device Care > Battery > Battery Usage to see which apps are using the most resources.
If you find any apps that are behaving strangely or consuming too many resources, try updating or uninstalling them.
Boot your phone into Safe Mode to see if the issue persists. Safe Mode disables third-party apps, which can help determine if an app is causing the problem:
- Press and hold the Power button until the power off screen appears.
- Tap and hold Power Off until you see the Safe Mode prompt, then tap OK.
If the phone works fine in Safe Mode, it's likely a third-party app causing the issue.
If nothing works, it may be time to try a factory reset. Follow the guide carefully, and back up everything you can prior:

Thank you.
