Phone better after uninstalling doordash

Hi all. My S22 Ultra (Canada) was freezing and getting unresponsive after the OneUI 5 update. I noticed that this happened everytime after i ordered my dinner. So just to test, i deleted the doordash app from my phone and since then it hasn't given me this problem. May or may not be a coincidence. I will check it for few more days. Anybody else with the same problem, could you tell me if you have doordash installed? And if it got better after uninstalling it?

Hey, you're right..I have noticed it as well while using Doordash. The UI becomes unresponsive and freezes and lags every time I click something even if Door dash is closed.

1. Hi this is Julian Vickrey ever since that last two updates the doordash app is my Samsung S21 ultra 5G phone to glitch I've cleared our every part of the cache and reboot cache and still there's a problem your recent updates has ruined the doordash app real bad and the phone too

No issues with DoorDash on my S20 Ultra One UI V5.0 - December Security Patch. 

Did you try Uninstalling & Reinstalling the DoorDash app? 

FYI, I always Factory Reset after EVERY Android Version Update, and never had any issues whatsoever with any Android version update.

I have had this same problem since I got my phone back in October. I determined that the conflict is between the door dash app and Bixby. I don’t even use Bixby but it is causing the issue and I can’t uninstall it which is super annoying.

And just how did you determine that DoorDash & Bixby have a conflict? 

There's no issues with either on my S20 Ultra One UI V5.0. 

I don't use Bixby either, and while you can't uninstall Bixby, you can certainly disable it (I haven't bothered). 

Perhaps someone who believes that there's a conflict (I don't), can get a log of this supposed conflict.

Apparently it's not only samsung , it is something happening with android 13. I have the same issues as well. I opened a ticket with samsung and yet I'm still waiting for an answer but it seems to be related to doordash

Interesting. 

I haven't experienced any issues when using DoorDash, but I wonder if it's tied to either location services, or SMS getting "locked up" 🤔
