My Samsung S21 Ultra does not let me specify the local IP address for my own DNS server (a Pi-Hole on my home network).  My Apple iPad does let me enter a local DNS server IP.  A Pi-Hole is a valuable protective addition to a home network.

Are you using DHCP settings on your S21U? You may need to change to Static IP on S21U in order to enter your own DNS server addresses.

Yes, going to a static IP solved it. Now have my S21u going to my Pi-Hole DNS server.
