How can I transfer the picture et video if the computer cannot see the phone by USB cable? I have a Samsung S8.

You can try below suggestion

1. copy data to your micro SD card. If your computer support micro SD card slot or SD card slot.

2. Open MyFiles app
You can shared folder and transfer file that way.

3. Upload to OneDrive or Google Drive,then login from computer to OneDrive or GoogleDrive,dowload files to your computer

4. If your computer has Bluetooth, you can transfer files between computer and phone by using bluetooth

5. You can use Samsung SmartSwitch from computer. Make a full backup, include SD card. You can find all media files under the backup.

Hi, here are some steps that need to checked if your Samsung device is not recognized by your computer.
1.Make sure computer has the latest Samsung Mobile USB Driver installed 2. Make sure your data cable is not damaged. 3. Make sure you allowed data access on your phone. 4. Make sure you have Smart switch installed on both of your Samsung device and computer.

Yes, but I don't recommend because if you are not familar how it works, easily got deleted all photos.

The straight forward method is to write all the data to a usb stick from your phone (but you need a type c to usb adaptor) and copy them back to the computer, or vice versa. The easiest way that I am using is to install a free ftp server app to your phone and a free ftp client app to your computer. You need a little technical knowledge to use this method. The basic and best method is to try to make your computer to recognise your phone by installing the samsung mobile usb driver as mentioned by @ctangabc above.
