In my contacts app I have around 400 contacts which are without name. Just numbers. I also have the same contacts with names as well.

When I delete them - they automatically come back again. I have stopped sync for my contacts too ( from Google and Samsung). I can't see them in trash too.

Because of that I have a hard time using WhatsApp, Samsung Messages, etc. The app priorities contacts that don't have a name instead of the same nber having name. Problem is not with whatsapp or app permission. I have given them all.

After I delete them I can see every contact's name in WhatsApp. But the delwted numbers reapper magically. So the problem starts again. I have deleted around 438 contacts more than 10 times.

Hi vrajjshah, I suggest you please reboot your device in safe mode and check if you are experiencing the issue.

If you are not experiencing any issues in safe mode, then the issue could be due to any third-party application you installed recently.

To do this, you need to completely power off the device.

Then, power on the device, and when the Samsung logo appears, press and hold down the Volume Down key.

If done correctly, "Safe Mode" will display on the bottom left corner of the screen.
