Is it possible to implement a "Knock-On" option as the LG phone in a future update? FYI: "Knock-On" is a quick double-tap on the screen to get your screen on.
I'm not sure if the S7 has it because there was still a physical navigation bar but on the S9 the home button is visible on the always on display so you just double tap on that. Not entirely the same as LG considering that you can double tap anywhere on that screen but it's close enough.
I doubt they'll add any new feature on older devices through update. S8/S9 already have the more modern version of Tap To Wake feature with pressure sensing virtual home button and tap home to wake feature. But there are countless apps that will give you this feature for your S7, available on Play Store. Rooting is also necessary.
