I have been occasionally losing tasks in my mobile ToDo app (Galaxy S22 Ultra)). I want to retrieve an older version of my SmartSwitch backups to find the missing tasks, then restore the current version and re-add the lost tasks. Whenever I recover an old version using Smart Switch, it just comes up with the current version on my mobile. Samsung insist that Smart Switch restores automatically "override" to the current version. Ridiculous - what good are older backups? How do I access older versions of my ToDo - any tricks? Are there other backup systems for the Android mobiles that you would recommend?

If you backup to your computer, move the folders containg the newer backups to another folder. Smart switch should then only see the old version. Restore that and copy off your app data manually. Finally move your newer folders back, restore your latest, and then manually add your old data.

Not sure why I need to do this. I just upgraded from the S22 Ultra to the S24 Ultra and Smart Switch did a great job of transferring all my data and apps. I had to re-sign into several apps but to be expected.

Thanks.
