I had a few very large video files that were taking up a lot of space on my phones HD, so I decided to shrink them to 80%, which took the file size down by half. Great. But when I checked the space on my HD, it had actually gone up by the same amount that the newly rendered video was. I tried going into trash, optimizing and even restarting my phone, with the same result.
I guess I could have saved as a copy then deleted the original, but I figured the way I did it would have overwritten the original. Any ideas?
Thanks

My guess is that when you resized it that the original stayed and created a new copy in a less than ideal resolution.

It was my desired resolution, but there's no copy to be found. I've since saved as a copy then delete the original. That seens to work. Potentially a bug though.
