S10+ only charging to 85%

Just started yesterday... Restarted and checked battery which said it was good... Is it time for a new phone?

It's a setting under battery that you can turn off!

Open Settings -> Battery and device care -> Battery -> more battery settings

If you have Protect battery turned on, battery will stop charging at 85%. You can turn it off to charge up to 100%.

Pro tip; Battery settings, To keep your battery healthy only charge it 85%. This will extend the life of your battery.

Hi, as said by others the battery protect feature helps extend the lifespan of the battery by limiting the maximum charge to 85%.

When enabled, your phone will never charge to 100%. It's a great feature to preserve battery health in the long run.
