After latest update, S10+ shuts down when screen is on standby and plugged into power.

Ends up showing the charge percentage, but seems to keep charging and then not charging every 30 seconds or so.

Device works flawlessly otherwise. Just can't plug it into power and let the screen turn off. Which isn't ideal for alarms in the morning!

Please also check your screen timeout settings. It can be found in Settings>Display>Screen timeout.

Turns out it also happens after a longer period of sleep unplugged too... Gotta love when an update introduces an issue like this.

Did you clear cache in recovery? Always good to do after every update.

Thanks ctangabc, GG2.

Hi Jbb8s5, Check the charger for any damages and make sure you are using the original one. Also please check the charging port by powering the device off and shine a torch into the charging port and look inside. If you can see dust or dirt, especially if it is covering the metal charging contacts, the charging port needs cleaning. If possible, please also try with another charger or wireless charger and check if the problem persists.

Shutting down suddenly, showing the charging screen. Then it seems to repeat the charging screen every 30 seconds or so.

why would it show the charging screen when it is left on standby? I mean it makes sense when it's plugged in.
