S20 Canadian versions

Don't buy direct from Samsung if your looking for an unlocked full featured model that the hardware supports. I recently made purchase of S20 and S20 Plus to find the esim functionality not installed.  This effectively negates dual sim option. I found the advertising misleading with no support from Samsung Service. "Im sorry that model is not supported". Handset was returned.  Unfortunate for Samsung as other manufacturers support dual sim out of the box. It's a shame that a $1500 handset bought outright is software blocked by Samsung. Who or what is Samsung protecting? Obviously taking my money and not delivering what is stated.

The Galaxy S20 and S20 Plus Canadian versions do not offer dual sim.

If I am mistaken, please provide some sort of source that tells me otherwise on Samsung's website.

S20 lists as Micro/Nano and/or esim which effectively is dual sim. physical sim + esim =dual. Hardware capable but Samsung SW blocked in North America

This is off Samsung Website under SIM description "Single SIM (Nano-SIM and/or eSIM) or Hybrid Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by)

Misleading and misrepresetation. Should state Canadian versions not esim software equipped. This would have saved me time searching for what I'm after found outside Samsung Canada. Buyer beware if your looking for full featured and capable

Yes, SnowCat19 is right. In Canada, dual SIM slot phones are not manufactured and e-SIM is available only with Fold.
