S23 One UI7 - Anyone else totally over the hype

I was really looking forward to the update, but it seems to have disappeared. Does anyone else feel the same way?

Normally worth the wait is always in a positive way, but, in this case, it seems opposite somehow which has killed all the excitement.

I totally agree . I mean if you want one ui 7 you might as well just buy an iPhone .

Yeah, I think Apple and Samsung are copying each other. Not much evolution but only aesthetical changes. Is it the beginning of the end of smartphones.

This has been going on over a decade and especially with Vivo, Oppo, and many other sub brand Chinese made smartphones with their UI' the last few years.

Apple is great with their UI but there are holes poor decisions and terrible walk backs that just don't make sense and affects basic use of a smartphone

Ex. Craig Federighi head of their OS teams made fun of Android 6 and NFC bumping at a WWDC ONLY to walk back some 12yrs later to enable the same thing with a much SLOWER UX to glamorous using WiFi ... yet full destroying the basic staple and protocol to share contacts over Bluetooth [it was there w/iOS 15.x yet gone in 18.3.1, why i have no idea].
