S23 Ultra camera's Face Effects Feature???

Opening Gallery and editing pictures, I found the Feature of Face Effects shows up and disppears when editing different pictures ( people with close look or far look ). I think it's the AI algorithm used to launch the Face Effects feature. Does anyone know this.

So this face edit feature is exactly what im inquiring about regarding video editing. Because it used to be an option when editing a video, it would let you edit face features in videos...now its gone and i cant find it anywhere for any videos. I still see it for photos like the examples you have above...the face has to be visible and a certain close proximity/cropped closer.

It may work the same way when editing pictures and videos. I am not able to update the gallery app yet. I certainly will try the feature again once I have updated it.

Yes please try it once you update your samsung and let me know if you also dont see the face options when trying to edit a video.

Btw, is there a reason you havent updated the gallery?

@Helenna, I haven't been able to update Gallery's app yet, I am still using the version of 15.0.00.42.

@puppetmagic, I can't find the New Version of Gallery App in the Galaxy store, and it doesn't automatically update yet neither.

Hi, have you tried rebooting the phone, since updating?

If not, please try this.

After rebooting, if the error persists, then from the Gallery apps main screen, tap the 3 bars in the lower right, then tap settings, then scroll down and select 'contact us' and submit an error report.

Hi, @ Helenne. Since I am still using the old version of Gallery App therefore I don't experience any issues. As mentioned, I can't update the new version of what was mentioned by the other gentleman since I can't find the Gallery app in Galaxy Store.
