S24+Wrong IMEI invoice and box

Bought a s24+ brand new on samsung shop , I received it and saw that the IMEI on box and on my invoice aint the same as the one in the phone setting . I even have 2 s24+ registered to my samsung account ;

-The first s24+ (with the IMEI i have in my phone setting)has a warranty ending 30-10-2025

-The second s24+ (with the IMEI on the box and on invoice) has waranty ending the 10-10-2025

And both of them has a DIFFERENT serial number.

Samsung customer service(i spoke to 5 different agent) told me it's normal , they dont put the real IMEI on box and invoice, and they wont do anything.

I dont believe them, also , i think i wont be able to place a claim under warranty if i have a problem since IMEI of phone doesnt match my invoice(proof of purchase)


What am i suppose to do if samsung doesnt want to help?

It sounds like someone purchased an S24 from Samsung and returned it. 

The returned S24 ended up in the wrong box. 

That is the most likely & logical explanation. 

Samsung's Reps lied to you! 

I'd send it back immediately. 

FYI, the IMEI on the box from my S23 Ultra & in Settings > About Phone is identical, as it is supposed to be.

Im tryin to explain that to customer service but they won't do anything , they either say it's normal and ignore what im saying or they just dont answer at all

If you're able to go to a Samsung Experience Store.. take the paperwork, box and device and show them. 

If you're not able to, call and insist on speaking with a supervisor. 

The IMEI should match on everything.

Update 28/10: Samsung reached out to me by email, they modified the IMEI in my account and my invoice. It was fine.... until I realised they made a mistake ; One number is missing. Now im waiting hoping they correct the incorrect correction.🫠
