I had to turn off live notifications because my media player was blocking all of my notifications in the status bar.
And even now, there's only 3 notifications and a dot! There's plenty of room and apparently previous versions let you customize this. The clock being movable to the right would open up even more room, but as-is it should fit 6 or even 7 plus a dot.
Status symbols like alarms and bluetooth are also only visible on the top right when you open the notification panel, even though there is plenty of room. They can be displayed, they ARE displayed when you swipe down.
Please allow users to show more notification icons in the status bar, that option was present before and 3 is frustratingly few. Clock to the right would be a substantial additional option as well.
You're correct — the current One UI implementation limits the status bar to only 3 visible notification icons before displaying a dot, even when there's available space. At this time, there's no built-in option to expand this limit or reposition the clock, and we understand how this change can be frustrating, especially for users familiar with the flexibility of earlier versions.
We recommend keeping an eye on Good Lock > QuickStar, as Samsung often reintroduces UI customization features there through updates.
