I'm having some camera issues as of late and hoping you guys may be able to help.

I take a picture...hear the shutter sound. And when I go to look at the picture later it is not there. This happened today, but with a lot af pictures. Everytime.....the shutter sound...so know I pushed the button.  But no pictures.

The odd thing is there ones taken after and in between the ones that are not there that I know I took. Hope you can help out as this is getting very frustrating.

If you have your Camera setup to store images to your external sd card - I'd bet the issue is with your external sd card - It's either corrupted or something - You can Scan it with your computer & check for errors 🐧

It's a new card. I wouldn't think there would be issues already. but...it is taking some pics. which I dont understand. Also...the pics go to my gallery on the phone first....then I make an album and move that to to the sd card.

What device? A new sd card isn't a guarantee that it's a good sd card either.
You're saying that your Camera is NOT set up to save images to the external sd card? (usually you'll see a prompt asking if you want to save to the external sd card when you open the Camera) 🕊

The device is an S8. Right now...it takes the picture and saves to the internal storage. Afterward I will make a folder to keep all the pictures in an order and then I save it to Sd card. I just dont know why it happens for some and not other pics

Yeah that's weird - Try using the Diagnostics here on Samsung Members app & See if there's an issue with your Camera 🕊
