Does it come on when you charge or restart your phone?

Hey @jeffhunagid,

launch the Samsung Hardware Diagnostic Menu by entering "*#0*# " in the dialpad.
From there tap on "LED" to test if the LED comes on or not.

test is OK, but not working when message come in.

This is something simple but worth checking. Settings -> Display -> LED Indicator..make sure it is on?

hmm...I am not sure what else to suggest besides to take it to a Samsung repair center
