S9 pie update taking forever to download!!

My internet speed is very fast yet the pie update is taking hours to download..

do you have enough storage space free?. also maybe try restarting your phone and maybe while your at that clear cache partition too. maybe that will help.

I've like 20 GB space remaining..cleared cache n restarted multiple times..nothing has worked so far

so does it freeze when downloading or does it give an error message? because when mine received the pie update it took a long time to download.

Sounds like this particular connection is the culprit - While you may generally have a "fast" download speed - It's quite possible that you don't for the download...

ya i hear ya it's a pretty hefty download as well. i have good speeds at my house and it still took me a while to get mine.

sounds like a don't blame it on the phone, blame it on the router. update took about a minute to download for me.
