After recording a video with the built-in Samsung camera and trying to edit it with the built-in Samsung video editor, the result is jerky with a noticeable loss of quality in the frames. However, if I use third-party apps to edit or trim, the result is as it should be—wonderful.

You might not notice the difference if the video is static, for example, when recorded on a tripod. But if you pan back and forth, especially at night, and then edit it, the problem becomes more apparent. I really hope Samsung can fix their editing software.

Hi ZliGrl,

The built-in Samsung video editor may struggle with more dynamic scenes or low-light conditions, leading to frame drops or reduced quality during edits.

We will make sure to communicate this to our team to enhance the editor for smoother results, especially in these situations. We appreciate you for sharing your suggestions with us and value your time contacting us. Hopefully a software update will address this.

Thank you for your feedback!
