Since setting up my S24 the settings for the Samsung email app have changed. I can't find how to change the tone for notifications. Also even though I have all the settings set up for it to pop up when I get a email it no longer happens like it did on my old phone. I have a few emails addresses and used to be able to click each one within the notification setting and change the tone but you now don't have that option. Any ideas how to fix it? Thanks
Hi, we appreciate you in trying everything in the phones settings but just in case you missed something.
Go to Settings > Notifications > Advanced settings
"Manage notification categories for each app" is OFF by default... switch it on
Then when you go into SETTINGS / APPS ... you will see that selecting an app and then notifications... there are options to select individual notification sounds for not only that app but for specific functions of the app.
