Samsung Galagy S21 Ultra upgrade offer

I upgraded my phone with Rogers Canada because my Samsung Galaxy Note 10S, which I only had for less than 2 years, started having MAJOR issue with the battery after I did the update on July 21 2021. The phone would go from 100% to dead within 2 hours of sitting on my table not being used and after a week of this the phone will not even start or charge when it is connected to the charger. 

That being said, when I went to Rogers and upgraded my phone to the Galaxy S21 Ultra I was told by the rep that I was eligible for a free chrome book. All I had to do is register my phone with Samsung, which I did, then under my offers I would find the ability to upload my purchase info to get my free chrome book. There was nothing, so I chatted online with chat support on Samsung, no help, I called Rogers and they told me to follow the steps that they had sent me in my email saying how to get the free chrome book, I already did those steps NO HELP. I sent and email to  chromebookgwp@getconnected.ca which I did with my proof of purchase and have not received any reply or help.

My question is. Has anyone else had any of these issues and have you received any help and how?

Hi, Please follow the steps set out below by September 23, 2021 to register your device to register for the Chromebook 4 gift with purchase. We recommend using a web browser on a desktop computer or laptop.

STEP ONE Sign up or Log in to Samsung Account: http://www.samsung.com/ca/samsungaccount/.

STEP TWO Ensure your address is entered in full and/or is up-to-date in your Samsung Account.

STEP THREE Register your new Galaxy device by accessing the “Product Registration” option found at the top of the “My Offers” section. When entering the device model code, please ensure that you use the model code found on the sticker of your device box. (Example: SM-G998WZKAXAC)

STEP FOUR Find this offer under “My Offers” in your Samsung Account and submit a claim by completing the online form and uploading your proof of purchase.

STEP FIVE An automated email will be sent to you to confirm that your claim has been submitted and is being reviewed.

When your claim has been accepted, a second email will be sent to your Samsung Account email address by September 23, 2021. Please ensure to check your junk mail folder.

I have done these steps 4 times. I would delete the registration and re register it again but nothing no option under my offers. I did this on my own and with Samsung chat with an email from Rogers and while I was on the phone with Rogers support still nothing . No reply from email. Nothing and very frustrating and upsetting.

I did it on a desktop not phone.

Iv been trying to do the same but there is no 'my offers' section in my Samsung account. It seems like a blatant scam or false advertising to some degree in my eyes. Rogers pass the blame to Samsung. It's very frustrating

Yes it is very frustrating, I have been with Samsung for many many years and when I went to upgrade my phone, my daughter tried talking me into an i phone. I told her no I would stick with Samsung. I am beginning to regret that decision with how much help they have been with regards to my issue.

I have been working on this for 4 hours and talked to support. I have registered my brand new phone 4 times and nothing shows up in my offers. This is entirely frustrating and despite the quality of their products I think this will be the last one I spend a dime on. I upgraded my phone because of this offer. I need a chromebook for school and thought this was a good promotion. What a scam. So frustrated and disappointed in the customer service and their response to my questions. They simply do not seem to care.

I know what you mean. I have used Samsung phones for over 20 years and have not had problems, until my last 2 phones. Now with the non help I have been getting from them I may be changing from Samsung phones. I was told about the offer by my Rogers rep and they have not helped me either. 

I have been working on this and trying to get help with this since I bought my phone on August 7th and still no help.

Hi, please share us with the IMEI number of the device which is printed on the rear panel of your device. Also, Dial *#06# on your phone keypad to get the IMEI number.

IMEI 350486741271883/11 

I supplied all this info when I registered my phone.

I also supplied this info along with the proof of purchase and info from Rogers when I sent an email regarding this to 

chromebookgwp@getconnected.ca

Which I have still heard nothing from them either.
