I am a 100% fan of Samsung Internet but I get frustrated by the inability to sort my many bookmark folders and bookmarks alphabetically.

Please tell me this is something that is being considered or even if it is available on the Samsung Internet Beta app.

I use Samsung Internet and I am able to put both my bookmarked web pages and my folders in any order I want. When in Bookmarks, or when in a bookmarked folder, tap the 3 dot menu and select edit ...you will be able to move the items around as you wish. At least I think that's what you're talking about.

Thanks, that is what I am referring to. I was thinking along the lines an option under the edit button, which states, "sort A-Z" as opposed to manually doing it.

Agreed!!!

This is vital considering former ios users such as myself when migrating to Samsung Android, there are a LIT of Safari bookmarks that get migrated which where in the following order that gets messed up! I'd like for Samsung development team to resolve this and keep the original Bookmark organization and hierarchy along with implementing these features please.

1. Importing from iOS/iPadOS Safari (or other browser bookmarks):
- keep Folder hierarchy, and subfolder hierarchy.
Ex: Android
--(S) Samsung
--(***) Samsung Hardware
--bookmark
(Wherein above "(*)" are folders which should be above direct bookmarks.

Samsung Internet.
Allow us to move several folders at once when manually organizing bookmarks please.

Hi Tao77, we certainly understand how frustrating that must be for you regarding this.

Please try the suggestions by Dolfinns to edit the bookmarks on the Samsung Internet.

However, we’ll ensure that it will be considered as a valuable feedback and communicate to the relevant team.

Thank you Dolfinns.

How many years does it take Samsung to correct bookmark to be alphabetized?

I really wish there was a way to automatically sort my bookmarks.  I don't even use bookmarks now because It is too hard to find the folder I want my bookmark to reside in. I know that I can manually change the order by moving them one by one to whatever folder I want, but that is way to tedious when you have a lot of bookmarks

Same here. I save bookmarks but never use them because they're too difficult to find. I'm not going to move them one by one; there should be an automatic sort system in the browser.. kind of a basic function that's missing

I am just sharing an update that I have just clicked the discontinue use of Samsung Internet. Many great features but lacking in the ability to export bookmarks and sort them alphabetically was a deal breaker for me. It is my information and I should be able to take it with me.

Just found a way to move bookmarks.

1. Tap on bookmark you want to move and highlight with a tick.

2. You should see up/down arrows on the left

3. Hold greyed out bookmark and drag to where you want it.

4. Untick bookmark and  swipe it to the left.

Job done but it only seems to work one bookmark at a time.....

Thanks Samsung 😠
