When opening samsung messages from notifications the last text chain it was left on will load in before being redirected to the correct message. It would be preferable if it directed to the correct message immeadiately as it does if the app is closed.

Does this occur with a failed connection over WiFi, then reverting to mobile data? Is this with another Samsung user or another phone or another platform user (aka iOS/iPad OS)? Curious if you have "data" enabled in the main Samsung Messages to enable RCS? Does this occur for every person u communicate with within Messages?

@Helena please state clearly the reason for tbis recommendation in futuee posts vs troubleshooting the issue. Lack of doing so is a disservice to somw users without clarification. Understanding the concern should preclude trying to resolve it and or at least a better explanation vs redirecting.
Samsung has AI built into OneUI 6.1 for S23 and S24 series completely, along woth some functionality differemces between the 2 different messaging apps.
