Galaxy SHi JCatty,
If the My Files app is continuously loading when you try to open Downloads, Documents, or other folders, it could be due to a cache issue, file corruption, or background process interference. Please try the following steps to resolve it:
Clear App Cache and Data: Go to Settings > Apps > My Files. Tap Storage. Select Clear Cache, then Clear Data. Reopen My Files (don’t worry, your actual files won’t be deleted)
Restart Your Device: Press and hold the Power button, then tap Restart. This resets background processes like the media scanner.
Check App Permissions: Go to Settings > Apps > My Files > Permissions. Ensure Files and media is set to Allow.
Boot into Safe Mode: Press and hold Power > then tap and hold Power Off > tap Safe Mode. Open My Files to check if a third-party app is causing the issue.
If the issue persists, please let us know your device model, and whether you use an SD card or cloud sync in My Files. This will help us assist you more effectively.
Thank you.
