Hi,
I'm starting this post as a place where we can voice our request for features to be added to the Samsung Notes App - hopefully the developers will read this post.

As we all know, Samsung Notes is the best text editing app for the smartphone, but there's always room for improvement!

Here are my requests:

1.
Collapsible lines - for long documents it would collapse multiple lines into on or 2 line - and optionally if we could name the collapsed section.

2.
Sorting that ONLY sorts the CURRENT folder

Allow multi tier hashtags. For example #on/music/piano or #on/music/guitar. Then be able to search a tag to any tier. So if I just want to see all my music notes I'd search "#on/music" or I could be more specific and add another tier like piano, guitar, theory etc.

Notes can often relate to other other notes, so being to be create link to another note in your catalogue would be very powerful. This allows multiple entry points in your notes for retrieval.

I have a few ideas:

1. Dotted line pen, would be invaluable for drawing graphs and curves.

2. Custom shapes menu, draw it once and save it.
3. Shapes Infill, patterns and slicing tool.

4. Convert Freedraw to Shape (and vise versa).4. Export as SVG, would be great for cross platform.

5. Insert Timestamped link to current Audio Recorder's recording.

6. Adding the use of Headings functionality.

7. Adding Nodes functionality (for diagrams like mermaid.js and Mindmaps creation). connecting two shapes with an arrow.

8. Arrows customization (two headed, single headed, curved and so forth).

I think that a few nice places to look for inspiration are: Excalidraw (by Christopher Chedeau), Concepts (by TopHatch), LectureNotes (by acadoid developer).

Other than that, great job on the app, it works better than any other app for note taking on a galaxy tab.

If you somehow could release an API for the community dev's to create custom tools and scripts (of course the user is forfeiting any claims of damage or lost data by using those community tools) that would be amazing and would accelerate the development of the app tremendously, while also expanding the fans base and generating a positive image for the company.

Pls allow adding of video into the Samsung Notes. It will make the note-taking experience, all encompassing.

I'd like a symbol palette where can select shapes like arrows, flowchart components etc.  I know you can create them with the autofix shape tool but it would be handy to have a predefined set of shapes/symbols.

right now there are 2 forms of shapes
1. if you draw some shape and hold down the pen
2. if you choose the shapes icon and draw a shape

my request is to make the action for 1 result in 2.
so if I hold down after a shape draw it will create a shape of type 2 and not 1.
shapes of type 2 can be manipulated and are far more well-designed (take for example a line that can rotate and it's not a square under the hood, or arrows that are exclusive to the type 2 shapes)

A function in S-Notes, that allows you to export entire folders from your S-Notes in different kinds of files (like: S-Notes files, Word files, PDF files, etc.) would be so nice. I absolutely adore S-Notes as a Student, but I'm always a bit currious that I could loose all of my Notes. If there was an easy Download Option (of whole folders) it would be possible to just save the entirety of all my files on an external harddrive and have them secure for the case of an Data-loss.

I would like to have an option to outline any images we paste in. Like choosing an outline colour and its weight would be great
