I have S24 Ultra and GW5 Pro

Earlier this year Samsung Pay on my watch randomly reset and lost all my payment info. I had to manually re-add all my cards multiple times over 2 months as it continued to happen

It started resetting again. This time, when I open Samsung pay on my watch and you hit add card, it prompts to continue on the phone. Samsung Pay on the phone asks to re-enter all the payment cards (unable to import any previous data). Up to this point, this was happening the previous times Samsung Pay reset.

The difference this time, when the phone prompts to add the card info, the watch starts pulsing and it shows the cards I had previously set up.

I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Samsung Pay, disconnecting and repairing the watch and phone, etc.

Has anyone else had this issue? Does anyone know why this keeps happening?

More importantly, does anyone have a solution?

Thanks

Hi Lofu,

We are sad to hear that you're facing a frustrating issue with Samsung Wallet on your Galaxy Watch 5 Pro and Galaxy S24 Ultra.

On your phone, go to Settings > Apps > Samsung Pay > Storage. From there, clear the cache and data. This can sometimes resolve issues with app functionality.

If the app continues to ask you to re-enter your card details, try removing and re-adding your payment cards. Sometimes a fresh setup can resolve sync issues.

As you mentioned, you've already tried this, but ensure you fully unpair the watch from your phone before re-pairing. This process can sometimes resolve issues.

If the issue persists, consider performing a factory reset on the watch. Remember to back up any important data before doing this. You can reset your watch in Settings > General > Reset.

Thank you.
