Galaxy SHi M_R_M_XL,
It sounds like you're experiencing an issue with the Samsung voice dictation not recognizing punctuation commands and spelling them out instead. This can happen due to the settings in the keyboard's voice input or a misinterpretation by the dictation system.
You may need to adjust settings in the voice input configuration.
- Open Settings on your phone.
- Go to General Management > Keyboard List and Default.
- Tap on Samsung Keyboard > Voice input.
- Ensure that Automatic punctuation is turned on (if this option is available). This allows the dictation tool to properly handle punctuation.
If there's a temporary glitch, clearing the cache of the Samsung Keyboard app might help resolve the issue.
- Go to Settings > Apps.
- Search for Samsung Keyboard.
- Tap on Storage, then Clear Cache.
If the issue persists, you can boot into Safe Mode to check if any third-party app is interfering.
- Hold down the Power button and tap Power off.
- Tap and hold Power off until you see Safe Mode.
- Test dictation in Safe Mode to see if it works correctly with punctuation.
Thank you.
