Galaxy SOverexposure is the worst problem that can occur when you take a photo in auto mode, because it impossible to fix blown out highlights.
It isn't a matter of taste, it is an issue.
I don't believe that Samsung recognizes it as an issue, however, because it has never been adressed. Year after year, phone after phone, this problem persists.
Even after one year, the S23 Ultra remains unreliable when it comes to exposure. And this is not a hardware issue: if the user can manually decrease the exposure, Samsung can.
Obviously, you can avoid that by using the pro mode. But the auto mode is necessary. You see a bird in a tree, you take your phone, you zoom and.. well, all you ask is a picture of a bird. No time to decrease the exposure before.
Samsung, please fix this issue once for all. Not only on the S24 Ultra, but on all your phones that suffer from this problem. It will show that yourespect your customers, and believe me, many of them need to be reinssured about the respect they're getting right now.
Sent from my S23 Ultra
(Next one could be sent from a S24 Ultra, if you finally fix the fixable issues. Your call 🤙😉)

Yes, I also noticed it in my S24 Plus. They should address it as soon as possible.

I've seen that many "popular" users on Twitter have talked about it a lot. Sometimes it helps. Like during the OneUI beta. People have complained so much about the animations that Samsung worked to improve them a little bit 🤞.

Samsung photos are overexposure from decades now. No improvements and Samsung is not in a mood to address it. Now it became like a geek that if any overexposure photo is seen they think it was taken from Samsung devices. They simply don't respect the feedback or demands from its users.

True. Overexposed photos have become Samsung's signature (although iPhones can do it sometimes). I see that many people like IceUniverse keep talking about it, and it might help.
Samsung is clearly not in a good period right now, and we can only hope that new people will start working on the camera (eventually). I believe Samsung could be better than Apple, but some things will have to change for sure.
The more people complain, the more chances we have to see some improvements. Tiny improvements, at least!
