Galaxy SI’m having issues with the screen brightness on my Samsung Galaxy S25 Plus after installing today’s security patch. Everything is set correctly, but now I notice the maximum brightness doesn’t reach its peak anymore. It looks darker… and that never happened before. I feel like the display is no longer reaching its full peak brightness. Why??? Another problem after installing security patches… I’m getting really fed up with all of this…

Galaxy SI haven't noticed any changes in the maximum brightness on my S25 Ultra with the April Security Patch OTA.. pretty sure that the only changes with the April update are the Security Patch Updates.
What other things do you believe have changed with previous Security Patch Updates?

Galaxy SHi Germ1470,
Please know that our team takes feedback like yours seriously. Security patches are designed to enhance device protection, but we recognize that unexpected changes in performance can be disruptive. We recommend first checking if adaptive brightness or eye comfort shield settings may be influencing the screen’s maximum output. If those are already set correctly, we encourage you to run a quick diagnostic through the Samsung Members app and submit an error report so our engineers can review the issue in detail.
We value your feedback and appreciate your patience as we work to ensure your Galaxy S25 Plus delivers the best experience.
