Hey everyone my screen saver doesn't appear to be working for some reason and I'm trying to figure out a solution. If anyone knows anything please let me know. This is the screensaver that is supposed to appear while charging and the phone locks itself automatically.

Hi Gursh,

We are sorry to hear that your screen saver isn't activating as expected while charging. Here are a few steps you can try to troubleshoot the issue:

Check Screen Saver Settings: Go to Settings > Display > Screen Saver. Ensure the screen saver is enabled and set to your desired option (e.g., Clock, Colors, or Photos). Tap "When to start" and confirm it's set to activate while charging.

Verify Charging Conditions: The screen saver typically activates only when the phone is locked and charging. Ensure your device is locked and connected to a charger.

Disable Always-On Display (AOD): If AOD is enabled, it might override the screen saver. Go to Settings > Lock Screen > Always On Display and turn it off temporarily to see if the screen saver works.

Restart Your Device. A simple restart can resolve minor glitches.

Test in Safe Mode: Restart your phone in Safe Mode (Power off > Hold Power + Volume Down until the logo appears). This will disable third-party apps temporarily. If the screen saver works in Safe Mode, a third-party app might be causing the issue.

Thank you.

Hi I don't see an option for "when to start" everything else I've already tried

That's because there there is no option of when to start.

For me, the screen saver doesn't activate on screen timeout or if the phone is locked and I plug in the charger. If the phone is locked and I plug in the charger it will show the charging percentage at the bottom of the display. Now, if I then press the power button the login screen pops up and if I wait for that to timeout the screen saver will start working. Not right.
