Galaxy SHi JC1976,
Welcome to the Samsung Members Canada community.
Secure Folder protects your private content, such as photos, notes and apps, from being accessed by others even when your device is unlocked.
As per the error message, we suggest you to restore the secure folder data on your device.
1. Open Secure Folder and enter your Passcode
2. Tap on the 3 dots.
3. Select Settings
4. Tap on Backup and restore
5. Select Restore within your Backup and restore settings
6. Select the device and content you would like to restore then tap the Restore button to finalize the command.
7. Tap on Restore.
Then, perform the clear cache of the secure folder and restart the device once.
Go to Settings> Apps> Select the Secure Folder app> Tap on Storage> Clear cache.
After that, you can try to back up the data to the Secure Folder app and make sure that you have a full network connection and active mobile data plan. It needs to connect the Secure Folder with your Samsung account.

Galaxy SHi @JC1976,
Thank you for your technical inquiry -- there may have been a problem during the download of file from the server which caused failed restore operation. After doing some research, the error may also be due to network error or poor connectivity. In addition to Halston's reply, try backing up the data by category separately:
1. Select Images --> Backup --> Backup Success.
2. Select Apk --> Backup --> Backup Success.
Also, another suggestion is to check that you are using the latest version.
Hope this helps,
Samsung_Ben
