When I attempt to open my camera app, my screen flashes a message stating, "Security policy prevents use of camera" and then returns to my homescreen. The app will not open. I've followed every suggestion to troubleshoot, except factory reseting. Has anyone else experienced this?

Hi, please try going to settings >> Biometrics and security >> other security settings >> Device admin app.

You can see which apps may be blocking the use of the camera.

If you still unable to use the camera, we would recommend to perform safe mode, to see if you can access the camera without the error.

By booting the device into safe mode, will let us know if it's a third- party app that is causing the symptoms your'e experiencing.

To enter Safe Mode, please perform the following:

1.First, completely power off the phone.

2. Then, power on the phone and when the Samsung logo appears, press and hold down the Volume down key.

3.If done correctly, "Safe Mode" will display on the bottom left corner of the screen. If "Safe Mode" does not appear, repeat the steps above.

4.Once you are in Safe Mode, you can remove the third-party app that is causing issues on your phone.

5.To exit Safe Mode, simply restart your phone and it will reboot normally.

If the issue still persists, unfortunately the last option is to perform backup and factory reset by following the steps in the given links.
