I can't change system language to Portuguese (Brazil).
- I went under: Settings > General Management > Language and input. After selecting Brazilian Portuguese, the apps are in Portuguese but the android menu are mixed. Some are in english, some are in Portuguese.

I performed a System reset and at the very initial screen i could only choose between 3 Asian languages, English from EUA and Canada, and French. I selected English and after initial setup i went to Language and Input again. Set it to Brazilian Portuguese, but still with same problem.

Some menus in English some others in Portuguese.

## I also bought an Galaxy Tab S3, it is running same android system, i did same procedure and it is perfectly translated to Portuguese, however the Galaxy S8+ isn't. Both devices bought in Toronto CA.

What should I do? It looks like software failure.

*Red square menu is in Portuguese. Others not.

Hey @Magnaflux, you can only change the entire System UI language to either French or English in Canada. The S8's software build allows you to set any language on the phone, and if an application supports that language you set, it will change. If the application doesn't support that language it will default to English. -Nick

Thank You for your answer. But, if the System UI half translated to Portuguese, like I shown in my picture, it give to us an impression that someone fails in do it correctly...... anyways....

No. because we bought it here, the "ROM" that gives life to our phone is Canadian. Every region have its own.

^Correct. Because devices purchased in Canada are the Canadian variant, the languages etc. cannot be modified in the system.

Your Galaxy Tab S3 system is just perfectly translated for you, because you were born after Fernando Henrique Cardoso, after the military dictatorship in Brazil, if you were born before the military dictatorship and before Fernando Henrique Cardoso, you would never have this vision, you would never say that!
There is a conspiracy among the media industry, means of communication with the actions of Fernando Henrique Cardoso in the past that changed the way of thinking and action of Brazilians.
