Smart phone for seniors

I really wish Samsung would make a smartphone for the eldery. My mom is 80. She keeps buying cell phones. "Samsungs". Which in return I often have to drive 2 hours to her house, 

Get whichever phone from her collection and return it. Very often having to get a hold of a supervisor or escalate the issue etc.. Which is a real bummer. My mom refuses to have a regular type of flip phone. It HAS to be a Samsung smartphone because she likes her " mots croisés " . She has a hard time answering calls. Swiping the green incoming button. She deletes icons..lol.. and so on.

Now I am truly terrified! She went and got ANOTHER phone yesterday. S24 ! Lord please help me. 

I guarantee her calls will start coming in by tomorrow. They have smart phones for elderly people with huge icons and buttons minus all the

 "bebelles" in the US. I really really wish they would here. Lol... sorry just needed to vent.

She wants a new cellphone and you keep returning them so she buys another one🤣

Those are a few I didn't bother trying to return 2 of them are not even 6 months yet.

Show her how to use the volume or power button to answer a call.

It's true they are ignoring an entire under served demographic. I need a phone for my elderly parents with extra large buttons. Has an extra loud ringer with optional vibration and clearly shows the time in big letters. Large personalized icons for the top 5 people they call would help. Anyone else have any ideas for a senior phone design?

It should definitely be something on the top of someone's list. The population aged 85 and older is one of the fastest-growing age groups in many provinces. As per statistics Canada.
