Have we managed to figure out why messages "fail" since the last update? It happens a lot, and is very fruustrating having to restart my phone all the time because messages are not being sent.

Thanks

Hi pokersmith, Could you please let us know the model number of your Samsung device.

I suggest you to please try wiping the cache partition by following the instruction below and check the issue got resolved.

- Turn off the device.
- Press and hold the Volume Up key and Power key.
- When the SAMSUNG Galaxy logo appears release all the keys.
- An 'Installing system update' message will show for 30 - 60 seconds before the Android system recovery menu options appear.
- Press the Volume down key several times to highlight wipe cache partition.
- Press the Power key to select.
- Press the Volume down key to highlight yes, and press the Power key to select.
- When the wipe cache partition is complete, the Reboot system now is highlighted.
- Press the Power key to restart the device.

Following the steps as outlined, apparently the 'Installing system update' screen is being shy, as it is not appearing. It was attempted a dozen times.
It is a Galaxy S10

Hi pokersmith, Could you please let us know if you are experiencing issues with incoming or outgoing messages. Is the issue with only one particular contact or Is this happening with some group of contacts. Please check this and get back to us with the details.

you're "fix" of the "clear cache partition".... "failed". AKA, hasn't worked yet.
the issue is happening with any contact that did the upgrade, and has the "delivered/read" showing in their text messages. As far as I can tell from asking my contscts, it rarely happens to them, but us happening way too much to me. like, almost every 2nd message.

i suggest a solution becomes available before I switch to another phone company

Carrier agreed with me. They have no issues. It was since the update that was issued a couple months ago. Even some of my contacts are experiencing it with their phones. Since the update

As you can see by my last message, I contacted my carrier, and its all explained there.
I'm guessing there's still no resolution in sight? How does your tech department feel about this conundrum?
