Samsung, can you please work with Google Messages to add these missing features in their messaging app that are included in Samsung Messages for Samsung phones?

For example, when you send a motion photo, it removes the motion and sends a static photo. The workaround is to send it by Quick Share, but that sends a link instead of just the photos if the person isn't near you. The rest are seen in the attached photos.

Lol screw that!
Just start using Samsung Messges, where all is good in the hoood!

This persistence that Google fails to get things right on their own and leans heavily on Samsungs expertise (messages, quick share, and soon in Android 15 Private folder) is getting to be too much!

Their the software kings and should figure things out themselves! Asking a client to steal their best ideas isn't being competitive when you also compete in the hardware space with your client while also supplying the software that they rely on and with certain terms! That to me and, by definition, is worse than a monopoly!

How is thr EU and USA government is just pure blindness.

But hey it's your preference.

But I love all the extra fun animations that Google Messages has though 😆 I'm so torn because I miss the UI customization with Samsung Messages 😢 AND NOW I NEED THEM BOTH TO COPY APPLE IMESSAGES NEW ANIMATION FEATURES AND THEIR MAKE ANYTHING INTO AN EMOJI FEATURE 🤩😍🥰🤣🤔

Copy iMessges? At that point it seems you're on the wrong platform entirely lol. Eeek

Haha, no, I'm a Samsung fan girl 😍🥰 BUT I also love tech, sooooo while I could NEVER leave Samsung, I still want them to "adapt" the BEST of all features, software, and hardware from every phone company so I can have everything in one pretty little or big package 🤳🏾🫠 lol. Apple might take 20 years+ to get 1 Samsung feature, but when they do, it's usually implemented really well, so I'd like Samsung to "adapt" their good features instantly because THEY CAN 😏🤣 Competition is always good because we, the customers, will always win🏆

I get being a fan of tech, as am I . Yet saying that in the same breath of Apple iMessge boggles my mind: took them 7 years to update anything within iMessage, that isn't progress to admire, and barely anything new, animations are very minimal if that but hey each to their own.
I've been with Apple 14yrs until last August. I'm curious what you consider Apple's "good features" though. Probably another thread for that.

Definitely another thread because I have a LIST, lol. But I've never owned or even used an iPhone, but I watch all of the tech channels on them and comparisons between them and Samsung, etc. The only brand of phone I've had since the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is Samsung, and all of my other gadgets have also been Samsung including all of my televisions

That's what many of the moderators use, and that's their goto statement for assistance when it comes to Samsung Messages. I presume they don't or haven't used the app, so they don't know what to follow. Although @RedDogRabbit would disagree and say a ew outside leaks or foums state, Samsung messges is going to be sunsetted as an app. I see no inclination nor 6 close to that. Further, there are still continued updates for Samsung messges.

For me if so many moderators are doing that then either they shouldn't be employed if they cannot at the very least support the apps on thr platform by the company they're in the forum for it, what's the point?!

There have been many examples that you seen them suggest Google Messages on here.
