Galaxy SDid you actually READ this article you stated "bottom of the article"? In other words READ it not skim read?
Nowhere does it dtate Samsung Messges will be end of life OR going away NOR being OUSHED to USE Google Messages!
This screenshot subset of news.samsung.com CLEARLY states it's a Collaboration and that eother Google or Samsung Messages As A Platform (as in Sofwtare As a Service or SaaS).
Unless I'm going senile and possibly so, I don't see where this article agrees with your verbatim stance.

Galaxy SSamsung messges doesn't act like Googles or Messages with the I sent a like or whatever emoji - a lack of feature I prefer unless I enable the chat function and if my carrier supports it.
but that's why we have "choice" ;)
So we're good and a healthy debate but we'll get the best of BOTH words ;)

Galaxy Shttps://news.samsung.com/global/samsung-and-google-collaborate-on-rcs-messaging-for-android
Lol, the article states what I've been saying all along. I said that Samsung and all the carriers keep pushing everyone to use Google Messages instead of Samsung Messages because they said they were collaborating, and I said that I personally want either one of them or both of them to have the exact same features and "adapt" all of IMessages' fun new features. Since they are collaborating, because I hate choosing between them and missing out on features or the UI that the other doesn't have. Or they could just combine them since it's a collaboration and get rid of one. The article states that the collaboration goes as far back as 2018, but it's only since 2023/24 that Samsung and the carriers have been pushing Google Messages as per their agreement to have Google Messages as the main messaging system due to the collaboration and consistent updates from Google Messages and RCS. I hadn't read anywhere that they were abandoning Samsung Messages BUT Samsung is famous for discarding apps, services or features that they "feel" like nobody is using anymore so I'm happy that this isn't going in that direction so I can continue to ask for more features and even though they won't come as fast as Google, it still won't be as long as Apple 🤞🏾 lol

Galaxy SThe problem is too many have n issue with reading comorehension and thus the push to Google messges yet the article clearly states "Working together, Google and Samsung will ensure that their messaging clients, Android Messages and Samsung Messages, work seamlessly with each company’s RCS technology, including cloud and business messaging platforms. To date, Google and Samsung have collaborated to introduce RCS to select Samsung devices; as part of this expanded collaboration, Samsung will work to bring these RCS features to existing mobile phones* beginning with the Galaxy S8 and S8+. New Samsung Galaxy smartphones will also natively support RCS messaging**, starting with those on a set of carriers that have or will soon launch RCS. This means that consumers and brands will be able to enjoy richer chats with both Android Messages and Samsung Message users."
Therein lies the rub. And thus all AI LLMs have an issue citing the source and just poll the entire entire internet that by verbatim of one 9to5Google article which has since been deleted and replaced with this article https://9to5google.com/2023/09/26/google-messages-5-billion-installs/
That clarifies # of downloads. As I've been stating nine of your posts nor links nor screenshots clearly state what you originally stated that it "its a fact that Samsung & Google have a new partnership to push everyone to Google Messages"
Nowhere is it stating the partnership IS to PUSH this. Again, it's conjecture and a very false narrative, as too many have an issue with reading comprehension, or simply skim read and and incorrectly believe a falsehood.
For me, until I see either directly from a Google or Samsung press release stating to push to Google Messages or that Google Messages will replace Samsung Messages, it's not fact.

Galaxy SThe 2018 article is just in reference that they've been working together on it for some time now but as far as I know, I've never seen Samsung push another app when they have their own until 23/24 and I've never seen them set Google as the default but I had my N10P since launch till now without messaging issues which is why I said it looks like there's some truth to it. I couldn't even remember where I've read everything so that was just a fresh Google search. When they say use Google Messages instead because we've collaborated, it seems like something much more recent than 2018 but who knows 🤷🏾♀️ 🤔
Here are some of the other "official professional" sources where I got my information from but tbh it's everywhere on all the forums. Unofficially I guess. So my carrier as well as Samsung mods, and Samsung Canada chat but that was when I was first speaking to them when I got my S24U so I don't have a screenshot of that convo. I was curious because I had never used any other messaging app prior this was my first time using Google Messages and the only reason I even wanted to research it was because my messages weren't going through on Samsung messages

Galaxy SAs we've proven yours was incorrect.
Both for us used different t LLms or AI and each couldn't cite a valid link and listed conjecture - where did that come from?
Reading comprehension spread across the internet.
Again you still cannot cite a valid cohesive source that matched your original statement.
Why is that?
Because the original source since long deleted and the ONLY sources clearly state a colla oration for platform as a service and a partnership that BOTH apps will be used and support RCS!
Use common sense here .. why hasn't Google themselves nor Samsung Specifically state Google Messages will replace Samsung Messages?!
Because it is NOT.
The fact you keep clinging to this just because the overall reference is to use a default messaging app and NOT choose when the choice is there = the hallmark of Android spreads the fear uncertainty and false conjecture.
It's simple. And I've proven that with both information and sources we've BOTH sourced.
Irregardless the falsehood continues to spread because people do NOt fully read what's presented. They skim and spread what they falsely assume not what was written. People see with their eyes not with their minds. ;)
I'm done cause I'm too *** for this and there is no evidence to prove I'm incorrect.
Also Freedom mobile formerly Wind and once owned by and probably still is by Rogers Communicatiins Inc is THE smallest carrier if not amongst the smallest in Canada by customers.
